Paintings by T.J. Kittilsen. These paintings were once located inside of the El Paso County Court House. The paintings depict how the Pass of the North came to be. The paintings are now owned and displayed by the El Paso Museum of History.

Portrait of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla or Miguel Hidalgo, 8 May 1753 - 30 July 1811. Miguel Hidalgo was a priest and the leader of the Mexican War of Independence. After his execution on the morning of 30 July 1811, his head was decapitated and displayed to serve as a warning to other insurgents.

El Paso - Franklin Canal
The Franklin Canal which runs through the middle of downtown and south El Paso extends 28.4 miles through the city. The canal is actually part of a larger network of canals located in the Upper Rio Grande Valley. Once privately owned, in was acquired in 1912 by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation.

Mission San Xavier del Bac, interior, Tucson, Arizona. Unlike other Spanish missions in Arizona, San Xavier is still actively served by Franciscans and still serves the Native community by which it was built.

El Paso County Courthouse, January 20, 1886 - 1917. Located on E San Antonio between Kansas and Campbell. With only three floors, fifteen foot high ceilings and an imposing dome located on the third floor the renaissance style courthouse graced El Paso's skyline for just over 3 decades.
